About NET Ministries
NET Ministries is a Catholic non-profit youth retreat organisation. Each
year NET Ministries recruits, trains and commissions travelling and parish-based retreat
teams, made up of young Catholic adults who volunteer a year of their lives
to serve the Church. The travelling teams travel across Australia at the invitation
of schools and parishes and lead retreats six days a week for young people. The parish-based teams spend their year with a parish, or diocese, ministering to the young people and their families.
A NET retreat presents the Gospel in an exciting and wholly relevant
way for today's youth.
NET Ministries has been in operation in Australia since 1988. Each year
40 young adults volunteer to serve on NET Teams across Australia. Each
year 30,000 young people experience a NET retreat in their school or parish.

Why do over 150 schools throughout Australia
continue to book NET Ministries to conduct their student retreats?
- To enhance the self esteem of each individual through their awareness
of God's unconditional love and acceptance of them;
- To encourage a positive attitude towards their faith, family,
society and the Church; and
- To demonstrate through the lives of the team members the value of
a personal faith in Christ and to encourage young people to make their
own response to Christ
