Get on the frontline!

Everyday... Christians must face a struggle, like the one Christ underwent in the desert... it is a spiritual battle - Benedict XVI, Ash Wednesday Homily.

On a global scale we are faced with all kinds of challenges whether it be natural disasters, terrorism, racial and religious based riots or grand scale injustice and poverty.  On the domestic front we confront the constant effects of broken family relationships, pornography, youth suicide and abuse in all forms.  It can be very difficult for young people to find an anchor, a place of security, something to believe in that is bigger than themselves or the society which they live.  The battle is real and we face it daily.

However there is an answer and that answer is the person of Jesus Christ.  For those who experience the power of the Spirit given to us through the passion and resurrection of Jesus we find the strength to live the Gospel and the freedom it offers.  We have an amazing light that breaks through the darkness, an anchor to hold fast to when storms rage, a blueprint to use in daily relationships, a haven, a purpose and the love of someone greater than ourselves.  This is worth living and proclaiming!  If you have experienced this person of Jesus and the truth of his Gospel message in your life, then come and join us in the battle to proclaim the freedom that Jesus Christ freely gives.
